Chiguard® 5600 is a hydroxyphenyl-triazine (HPT) UV absorber engineered to provide outstanding protection and long-term durability across a wide range of polymers, from high-performance engineering materials to commodity resins.
It offers exceptional photochemical and thermal stability, combined with very low volatility and a high extinction coefficient, making it ideal for melt-processing at elevated temperatures and for use in demanding outdoor or weather-exposed environments.
