On November 20th, 2023, the "2023 Chitec Technology Scholarship and Mr. Chiu Yanshu Scholarship Award Ceremony" took place at the meeting room of the Department of Chemistry, National Taiwan Normal University. Chairperson Long Xiaofen was invited to present the awards. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Lu Jiarong, the head of the Department of Chemistry, with the attendance of Vice President Chen Kunming and several professors from the department.
In her speech, Chairperson Long Xiaofen expressed that chemistry has made significant contributions to human civilization over the past 400 years. In recent years, the chemical industry has faced stricter environmental regulations and ESG issues, making industry operations more challenging. The ceremony concluded smoothly with remarks from the awardees and their sharing of thoughts with the professors.

In order to encourage outstanding undergraduate students, Chitec Technology and Chairperson Long Xiaofen have separately donated funds to establish the "Chitec Technology Scholarship" and the "Mr. Chiu Yanshu Scholarship" at National Taiwan Normal University. These scholarships have been in place since 2018 and are now entering their sixth year.
