From April 17th to April 20th, Chitec participated in 2023 Chinaplas, the world's leading international plastics and rubber exhibition, held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. Customers had the opportunity to witness the latest developments and breakthroughs in the plastics and rubber industry. Chitec was located at booth 15B59 and demonstrated our newly developed exclusive products, which generated great interest and positive feedback.

The solutions presented by Chitec included:

Chiguard® R-455, a polymer UV absorber used as a yellowing resistance modifier for aromatic polyurethane (TPU), creating a pseudo-aliphatic TPU that combines long-term outdoor weatherability, mechanical properties, and cost advantages.

In addition, Chiguard® GA403, recently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, can be used for PET containers (such as bottles) in direct contact with food, effectively blocking all UV rays without affecting the color of the PET container, protecting food colorants, nutrients, or other photosensitive components in the bottle, achieving storage stability and food safety.

Finally, our newly developed thermal stabilizer U-5068L, which provides stability during processing and long-term use of TPU, effectively suppressing the fish eye defects in TPU films. It is the first product in the market to propose TPU fish eye improvement.
